To frame the history of this trip I must first give some upfront details. I received a call from my dad who asked me if I was interested in a FAM trip. I was ignorant of the travel hosting and guide life within the ski industry. My dad told me about a couple of options for a FAM trip to ITALY or France. I was to be on a plane in 2 days for a 1 week familiarization tour of Moena and Madonna DiCampiglio, ITALY. The sponsor of this tour was Central Holidays from Long Island, New York. They were certainly gracious hosts. I made my way from Boston to Newark airport to meet the other 8 tour hosts from around the country and Canada. We flew to Italy and snaked our way from Rome to the Val di Fassa and a small town of Moena, ITALY. The people in Moena were absolutely fabulous and very accommodating. We skied throughout the Dolomites while eating local cuisine which was out of this world.

We proceeded to Italy's Madonna DiCampiglio where the skiing was absolutely fabulous. The town was quite chic where most were well to do and very proper. The internal lift system at Madonna was great and very vast to satisfy the very explorative ski desire. The food wasn't bad either. We did enjoy meals which were made to order which would satisfy any pallet. These restaurants were on the hill and off the beaten path, but well worth exploring.
