2008 Adelboden\Saas Fee

2008 Adelboden and Saas Fee, Switzerland

This was a great trip as 5 of us stayed in a great 4 bedroom apartment in the middle of Adelboden. We went on the first week of March and the ground was brown.Click this link to take a look at the great apartment owned by the Zimmerman's. http://www.appa.ch/53524.htm

The 2nd night we headed from Adelboden to Bern to see a hockey tournament game between Bern and Fryeburg.Bern won and the crowd was crazy. That was Monday and on the way home from Bern to Adelboden it started to snow! We had fresh powder the next day and that was Matt's 18th birthday! We celebrated his birthday on the hill and apres ski libation. We had to hike up to the apartment because we spent too much time in the apres ski bar. Wednesday we went to Grindelwald for the day and it was bluebird and great! We showed pictures every evening at the apartment of the days events and had a great time in Adelboden. 3 of us went on to Saas Fee and the Hotel Burgener and the snow was great there as well as it snowed on the Monday night on the top of the mountain! Paul and Jim went to Lausanne to see the Olympicmuseum on Tuesday...

We met the beautiful girls from Bern at the apres ski at the Burgener and we danced, had fun and hung out. The next night, Wed, the girls convinced us to go to see Chicago Mike and we went wild! Great time and Great music at the Old-Inn Bar and Discothek in Saas-Grund...
